The Rooted & Reaching Embodied Care (RREC) Certification Program allows you to dive deeper into the philosophy and methodology of Rooted & Reaching Embodied Care: Integrated Spiritual Guidance and Caregiving for Mind, Body, Spirit & Soul. Receive special instruction, personalized support, practical tools, as well as deeper conversation, coaching and connection with Jody, as she guides you in the Rooted & Reaching Embodied Care way. Includes specialized training in trauma-informed bodywork and somatic tools for regulation.
As a Certification Program participant, you will: 1) participate in three retreats; 2) arrive a day early for specialized instruction in the RREC methodology; 3) receive teaching and instruction prior to each retreat via Zoom calls; 4) engage in reflective, self-study of related materials, books and resources; 5) explore a variety of embodied practices; and 6) have an opportunity to begin practicing your new skills with guidance and supervision from Jody. These opportunities are above and beyond the basic RREC REtreats, and are exclusive to you as a RREC Certificate Program participant. Program can be tailored to your unique ministry or work setting.
Upon completion of all requirements you will be able to add the RREC name and Rooted & Reaching logo to your work—whatever that might be! Be a Rooted & Reaching Embodied Care Spiritual Director, an Embodied Care Counselor, an Embodied Care Caregiver, an Embodied Care Yoga Therapist, an Embodied Care Life Coach, an Embodied Care Special Educator… the list is endless and flexible, depending on your line of work and area(s) of ministry.
RREC Certificate Program REtreats take place three times a year and run Thursday 6pm thru Sunday 3pm for those seeking certification, providing one full day for additional, deeper work (non-certificate program retreatants arrive on Friday at 6pm). REtreat space is limited to no more than eight participants total in order to build close community and connection, as well as to provide you with the attention you deserve in this in-depth study into embodiment and spirituality.
$2,000 Tuition for the Rooted & Reaching Embodied Care Certification Program includes:
- 3 RREC Certificate Program 4-day RREC REtreats
- Zoom teaching calls (3-4/year) – this is for all current participants & alumni of the program
- 3 Books: God’s Creative Gift, The Creator’s Healing Power & Jesus In My Practice + an RREC Journal & tote bag
- Lunch, snacks, coffee & tea provided while at the Rooted & Reaching Lakeside studio
- Certificate program participants commUNITY dinner Thursday evening
- 100 total continuing educational (CE) hours through Christian Yoga Association (30 contact hours earned at each retreat attended + 10 non-contact hours)
Cost does NOT include lodging and Friday/Saturday dinners. Lodging can be secured on your own or through Jody at “Grandma Violet’s” (5 minute drive, discounted rate).
